Sun line palm reading
The sun line, also called the Apollo line, is a vertical line running up the palm toward the ring finger. In palmistry it is read as creativity, recognition and enjoyment of being seen for what you make. It is a minor line: many hands show only a short one near the top of the palm, and plenty show none.

Look beneath your ring finger. The sun line runs vertically, parallel to the fate line but further toward the outer edge of the palm. On most hands it appears only above the heart line, as a short stroke or a few fine parallel strokes.
It is easy to confuse with the fate line. The test is where it points: the fate line aims at the middle finger, the sun line at the ring finger.
What the shape of a sun line traditionally means
Tradition ties this line to the sun and to Apollo, patron of the arts. These are the classic readings, offered as prompts rather than promises.

That is common and means nothing alarming. Palmistry reads an absent sun line as someone who does good work without needing an audience for it. Minor lines also deepen and fade over the years, so it is worth another look later.
